Roll Sizes

For longarm quilting businesses and higher-volume needs:

• Standard Roll – 90” x 25–30 yards (depending on weight)
• King Roll – 120” x 25–30 yards (depending on weight)

Rolls are consistent in thickness and fiber quality, minimizing waste from thin spots or imperfections.

Stitch Distance & Stability

Nine Acres Quilt Batting is made using long high quality fibers and careful needle punching that allows quilting stitches up to 8 inches apart.

The longer fibers naturally intertwine during processing, creating stability without scrim, glue, or chemical binders.

This provides:

• Reliable loft retention
• Even support across larger quilt sections
• Flexibility for both dense and open quilting designs

Shrinkage Specifications

Proper fiber quality makes a measurable difference.

• 100% Cotton Batting – Approximately 3% shrinkage with cool wash and cool dry
• 80/20 Cotton Blend Batting – Approximately 1%–3% shrinkage with cool wash and cool dry

We recommend washing finished quilts on low heat and removing from the dryer just before fully dry to preserve fiber integrity.
